Projects

AAA Lions serve the community through the following projects:

• Annual medical missions to the Philippines

• Local Metro Washington D.C. Health Screenings

• Feeding programs and backpack distribution programs to needy children in the Philippines

• Eyeglass recycling of used eyeglasses with the Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center of Northern Virginia

Our current major fund raising project is the Flea Market held at the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) Parking Lot, 6900 Hechinger Drive - from March or April through mid-November each year. It is a collaborative project with the Springfield-Franconia Host Lions Cluba and Springfield Global Lions Club.
